The PROJECT
Review five existing Planned Parenthood affiliate websites, as well as corresponding analytics, and propose a site map for the soon-to-be merged affiliate, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York. Build out a bilingual website and collaborate with key stakeholders, always remembering that patient access and experience is the priority, while still balancing the need for streamlined engagement of users interested in education programming or activist opportunities.
The process
Audit + Evaluate
Audit legacy affiliate site maps and evaluate legacy analytics, as well as the user research conducted by the federation’s analytics/digital team.
User Personas
Identify user personas, in conjunction with stakeholder research conducted by a hired consultant - personas include: the patient, the community activist, the donor.
site mapping + Prototyping
Develop a proposed site map for Planned Parenthood of Greater New York that streamlines the user flows for identified personas. Create initial prototypes, lo-fi and mid-fi, for usability testing and review by key stakeholders.
Final Build + Testing
Build out the Planned Parenthood of Greater New York website and conduct second round review and testing with key stakeholders.
