WORK EXPERIENCE

Director of User Experience and Design (2019-present)
Planned Parenthood of Greater New York

  • Implement organizational creative design principles and UX strategy across three websites, digital platforms, online booking, patient portals, and mobile products.

  • Manage the content audit, site maps, prototyping, user research, personas and usability testing, as well as the final website design builds for three new organizational websites, including bilingual content and design. 

  • Manage web and advertising campaign analytics, with a focus on increasing online appointment conversions for 23 health centers, improving patient experience, and increasing engagement with PPGNY’s affiliated political entities and activist groups.

  • Develop and present reports on digital products and key performance indicators, with a focus on strong data visualization and presentation skills.

  • Innovate and lead the organization’s brand expression and branding direction across web, digital, and printed materials, to ensure maximum engagement of the organization’s audiences.

  • Design digital and print collateral, merchandise, and ads. Provide video editing as needed.

  • Provide editorial and/or copy editing support for external and internal communications, including Intranet, email, and social media content. 

  • Work collaboratively on the Communications and Marketing team and supervise the Manager of Brand and Design.

External Affairs Operations Manager (2018-2019)
Planned Parenthood of New York City

  • Design digital and print collateral. 

  • Monitor department analytics to inform strategic planning.

  • Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and financial reporting for electoral activities undertaken by PPNYC’s political entities.

Manager of Board Relations and Executive Office (2014-2018)
Planned Parenthood of New York City

  • Provide high-level, multi-faceted support to the Boards of Directors of three affiliated entities: PPNYC, PPNYC Action Fund, and PPNYC Votes PAC.

  • Manage the Executive Office and the President's schedule according to key organizational priorities; supporting relationships with a wide range of partners and preparing for a diverse scope of meetings.

  • Design a high volume of digital and printed materials, campaign and event collateral, presentations, merchandise, and other material. Ensure that designs are of high quality, advance PPNYC’s goals, and adhere to brand guidelines.

Director of Government Grants (2013-2014)
Planned Parenthood of Northern New England

  • Develop, implement, and manag the organization’s $5.7 million federal and state grant portfolio across ME, NH, and VT.

  • Submission of two successful grant applications and management of all required grant reporting in collaboration with cross-departmental teams.

  • Manage preparations and oversee two federal and state health center audits. Coordinate responses to audit reports.

  • Collaborate with public policy staff to foster relationships with government agencies and funders, including Title X. 

  • Represent the organization and the interest of the patients we serve in various community forums and with funders, especially as it relates to health care reform, grant funding, and other initiatives.

Volunteer Coordinator (2010-2013)
Planned Parenthood of Northern New England

  • Manage an award-winning volunteer program across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. 

  • Responsible for targeted recruitment, thorough volunteer training, and continued support of more than 400 volunteers across over 13 health centers and 3 administrative offices.
